CONCEPT 2025

The interior design of loft transforms a shell & core industrial space into a generous and flexible home for two. The concept builds on the exceptional ceiling height of over 4.5 metres and the raw character of the concrete structure, allowing the space to remain open, light-filled and spatially layered.

A suspended steel platform becomes the key architectural element, dividing the interior into two vertical levels while enhancing flexibility and spatial depth. The layout is organised into clearly defined zones — an entrance with storage, a central living area with kitchen and dining, an open lounge space, and a more intimate resting podium. The bedroom is placed on the elevated platform, complemented by integrated storage and private facilities.

Materiality balances the robustness of the original structure with refined finishes. Exposed concrete, white-painted brick, dark oak veneer and solid timber elements are combined with raw steel, brass accents and glass details. Layered lighting and integrated technologies support everyday comfort and create a calm, adaptable atmosphere. The project reinterprets industrial loft living as a contemporary, functional and timeless interior.
