LANDSCAPE PARK (COMPETITION)
NORDLAND ARKITEKTER
The project proposes a landscape park in Ny Rosborg, Vejle, that responds to rising water levels by integrating water as a central design element. Inspired by aqueducts, a series of architectural structures serve as visual and functional landmarks guiding visitors through the terrain. These interventions highlight the relationship between the built environment and water, offering places for play, community, and reflection. As water levels rise in the future, access routes may shift from land to water, allowing the structures to serve as docking points and orientation tools. The curved forms reference both local history and contemporary architecture, creating a strong link between past, present, and an uncertain climate-driven future.
My work focused on developing the spatial and conceptual response to the site context, designing the individual stations, and creating a series of initial sketches that shaped the architectural character of the interventions.
