DUBEC, FAMILY HOUSE
At the edge of Prague, in the historic village of Dubeč, a new family home is envisioned – one that opens not only to the garden, but also to the street.
Designed for a young family with two children, the house blends domestic intimacy with a small pastry shop, softly activating the ground floor as a gentle gesture to the neighbourhood. Nearby, the neo-Gothic Church of St. Peter and the winding cycle route frame the site in layers of history and movement.
The project seeks to connect the private and the public, the scent of home and the scent of pastries, offering architecture that lives both inward and outward – a place where living and meeting can quietly overlap.
