STU INNOVATION CENTRE, BRATISLAVA (SK)

Set within the heart of Bratislava’s university quarter, this project reimagines the courtyard of the STU campus as a new node of innovation, encounter, and daily rhythm. Positioned between Radlinského Street and Slobody Square, the area once housed heavy laboratories — a fragment of the past respectfully preserved in the design.

The proposal introduces a trio of structures, each contributing to a renewed urban composition. Object A serves as the intellectual anchor — an innovation center that fosters ideas and exchange. Object B, a lively bistro, invites pause, conversation, and connection. Object C acts as a discreet entrance to the underground automated parking system, completing the functional network.

Together, these buildings form a modest yet purposeful constellation — bridging history and progress, industry and community, function and form.
