Extension and Reconstruction of the Large Mammoth Ski Jump

This design gently introduces a new architectural layer at the foot of the legendary Mamut ski jump in Harrachov — not to compete with its iconic silhouette, but to complement and support it. While the jump slices boldly across the slope in a dramatic diagonal, the new building quietly anchors itself to the terrain, unfolding horizontally like a grounded counterpoint.

Instead of striving for its own prominence, the structure acts as a measured continuation of the landscape and the sport it serves. It offers essential facilities while preserving the symbolic strength and visual gravity of the Mamut jump — allowing the past to resonate, and the future to take shape, in thoughtful balance and mutual respect.
